Keeper fight hots up


Hertha BSC and their never-ending goalkeeper battle. Head coach Lucien Favre has now reopened the race for the spot in the Hertha goal.

Favre poured oil onto the fire as he once again stated: "Every position will be analysed during the winter break, including that of goalkeeper."

No problem for Drobny

Hertha's long-time number one and nowadays second string keeper Christian Fiedler: "I want to play." So what does the current number one Jaroslav Drobny have to say on the matter?

The 28 year old Czech-born shot-stopper was his usual calm and collected self as he said: "It is out to our coach who plays and I don't have a problem with that fact." Last summer, Drobny just about got the nod over Fiedler...
