Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri has admitted an interest in Liverpool midfielder Momo Sissoko.
Despite nine Premier League appearances for the Reds this season, the 22-year-old appears to have fallen out of favour at Anfield of late and has also been linked with a move to Inter Milan.
Inter, though, appear to have switched their attentions to Maniche, apparently leaving the way clear for Juventus should Liverpool decide to sell.
In comments reported in The Guardian, former Chelsea boss Ranieri said: "I had the pleasure to coach him at Valencia and I like him a lot. "I know him very well. He is a great player."
