
The 34 year-old Czech player is transferring for the second leg of the season from AS Monaco to Nürnberg. He introduced himself to the public at a press conference on Sunday (January 6, 2008).
Contract through 2010
On Sunday morning, Koller passed his physical examination in Nürnberg and then took part in his first training session with the team. The high scoring striker will sign a contract good through June 30, 2010. Both clubs agreed not to speak about transfer fee details.
With BVB 2001 to 2006
After two years with RSC Anderlecht (64 matches, 42 goals), Koller transferred to Borussia Dortmund in 2001, where he played in 138 Bundesliga matches and scored 59 goals. He was also on BVB's 2002 Bundesliga championship team. In the summer of 2006, he was signed by AS Monaco, where he scored twelve goals in 50 matches. This season, he has played in 18 matches for AS, who are currently ranked ninth in the French league. The 2.02 metre-tall had 83 shots on goal as a Czech international player and scored 51 times.
