Torsten Frings has been enjoying Germany's winter break following a nine week injury absence, but vowed to come back stronger and help Werder Bremen lift the league title.
2007 has not been a great year for Frings, who has been forced to watch much of it from the sidelines, but he believes his worries are now behind him.
"I don't have any problems anymore," the former Bayern man told Bild. "I feel great. Maybe it will take another week until I can start training with the team again, but I'll definitely be flying out for the training camp in Belek."
Injuries Overcome
Werder have had an enormous number of casualties this season, but the great news for Frings when he returns is that his side are behind leaders Bayern only on goal difference.
"We're right up there in the table in spite of all the injuries," said the German international. "That should speak volumes to the others. I'm convinced we'll be champions."
DFB Pokal
But it's in another competition that vice-captain Frings hopes to make his comeback for the Green-and-Whites: "My aim is the Cup game at Dortmund in four weeks time - I want to be out on that pitch."
