Michal Papadopulos of Bayer 04 Leverkusen agreed on Friday to transfer to FC Energie Cottbus.
A contract is due to be signed on Monday. Both clubs have already agreed to a loan agreement for the 22 year-old striker till the end of the 2007-2008 season.
Energie have option to buy
FC Energie Cottbus also receive an option to buy. "We see the enormous potential of Michal Papadopulos and believe he will develop with more experience on the pitch", said manager Steffen Heidrich. "We are very happy that we could reach an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen and Michael. He is good with his head and quick - we have been looking for an offensive player with those attributes."
