Hannovers new acquisition Valerien Ismael will be wearing the number 4 jersey in the second leg of the current Bundesliga season.
The decision was cleared with the players and management of Hannover 96. Ismaël's would prefer to wear number 25, but that number is already in use by second goalie Frank Juric.

Hannover acquired the 32 year-old French player in a move to bolster their defence. The proven defender previously did a stint at Werder Bremen in 2004 and had been with Bayern from 2005-06 till his signing with Hanover on January 1, 2008.
