HSV captain Rafael van der Vaart is unwilling to accept an early offer to extend his contract.
The 24 year-old player revealed his decision on the last weekend of his holiday.
"Totally concentrated on the rest of the season"
"I had a good discussion with management at HSV. The offer was really outstanding, but I already have a contract good through 2010 with HSV and will not extend it at this early point. I want to totally concentrate on the second half of the season. We've put ourselves in a good position but still have a lot of goals we want to achieve this season", said van der Vaart.
